Choosing the right backup provider

All of us agree that you need to protect your business data. And hopefully you're convinced you need to have both a local backup copy, and properly curated off-site copies that give you multiple recovery points.
But how do you choose the right provider for your backup needs, whether you want online backups or a better way to locally back up.
There are plenty of choices, but we've come up with 5 things we think are worth considering.....

It is shaping up to be another cracker year for the storage industry so grab your popcorn and settle in for the show.
Public cloud continues to gobble up data like a fat kid at a buffet. The perennial contenders can only strap on the gloves and duke it out for supremacy of what remains of the on-premises storage market. There have been some casualties and there are certainly more to come (more on that in a later post).
